Deep in Fall Territory
The trees in my neighborhood have turned their last shade of bright orange and fiery red. The sun sets long before we are done with our day, and the offshore winds have lost a few degrees.
I knew it was coming … the World Series is over, pumpkin everything is everywhere, cinnamon this and maple that are common choices. We are deep in Fall territory.
There is more to this season than amber hues and pumpkin pie flavors. There are still days to come when it’s warm if you stand right in the sun. Bluebird days when the blue sky extends forever. Cold evenings that require warm fires to sip cocoa near.
